About Me Describe Yourself: I am a 27 year old single mother, I am currently going through a separation. I am 5' 6" and roughly 145lbs. I have hazel eyes and love to smile most days. I like to think that most of the time I have a good sence of humor, however I love to debate and philsophise over life, history and the dreaded religion. On Gather, I'm Looking For ...: Others that can relate to my feelings, that understand depression. I have many friends, most of whom do not understand me when I am having a bad day. I would like others to chat with that do understand how the little things can sometimes be the breaking point. Interests Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: Chicago, Roy Orbison, Alan Jackson, Terri Clark, Reba Macintyre, Blue Rodeo, AC/DC, Metallica, Country, Rock, Blues, and many things in between. I enjoy listening to an Irish Tenor, and sometimes a classical piece or two. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: Historical, Educational, Thriller, Suspense, Love, Hate. The books I read I seem to find at least one character that I understand and can relate to. If this character is missing for me it makes the book seem unintersting to me and harder to read. I am an avid reader; reading on average 5 - 7 books per week., Wow, where to start..... Greg Iles, Dan Brown, Lisa Jackson, Anne Rice, Joy Fielding, Heather Graham.... at this point in time I have already read so many authors that I have a hard time naming all of my favorites, there are so many. The written word is merely the script for the movie of the imagination. All books are great. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: Dirty Dancing, for two reasons; the first being that it is such a classic film and one that even in todays society I think that many can relate to. Albeit at a younger age than they used to. The second reason it is my all time favoite is for sentimental ones, it was my great grandmothers and my grandmothers favorite movie, so I guess I feel almost as if when I watch it they are watching it with me. I also love a good action flick or a comedy and well as you can tell the occasional chick flick. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: Law & Order - all of them! CSI - all of them! Shark, House, anything that is intelligent, may teach me something and engages my mind really. Interests and Activities: I enjoy spending time with my son, and our pets, 1 hampster named nibbles, and two ferrets (my furkids) named Budha & Sita. These are all the lights of my life along with my wonderful family and beatiful niece, I walk my ferrets, as I said play with my son, baking (I hope to make that a profession though), Stitchery, Reading.
